Re: outline color overpaint with A-color

OKAY, It's always like that. When I post it, I find the solution myself. Just take the airbrush and make sure the transparancy button (next to the proxy) is selected. Piece of cake when you know it. :D

outline color overpaint with A-color

I'm searching for this for a while now and probably the option is living somewhere in TVP, but I can't seem to find it. I wonder if it is possible to overpaint part of the outlines of a character with a color of my choice. So basically the same as the tint blue, red, green,... that are living in the...

join clip

When using TVP for storyboard I do all the panels in one clip. Afterwards I use the clip/splitclip option to separate the scenes. Is there an option to join them up again afterwards without having to open each TimeLine and copy/paste everything back together in the same timeline?

Re: Support for Dual Screen Monitors

Check the settings of your video driver, and the settings of your toolbars. I am working with triple screen setup without a problem. There's no limitations within TVP. Solution to be found in the driversettings of your video card.

Re: windows seven and wacom cintiq:

I'm not so techy, but I have the same setup than yours. Cintiq with windows 7. I have no strange behaviours like these. There's others, but those are the result of the clumzy drivers that come with the cintiq. Wacom is working on that. It sounds to me the problem is to be sought in your system setup...

Re: communication problem between TVP and wacom driver?

don't know when. On their forum on the thread concerning this problem they stated on October15 to bring out an update soon (don't know if these were the exact words). I agree. Wacom has a big problem with their software team. The hardware is fantastic, the price is high, so as customer we expect at ...

Re: communication problem between TVP and wacom driver?

The new driver seems to have big problems too. At least under windows7. Whenever you restart the computer it resets itself to it's original settings and you loose all your personal settings. Saving and re-installing your settings does not work neither. Very annoying. Wacom promises on it's forum a q...

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

Thanks Mads and all the others. I'll use the enter shortcut till the next update. Concerning the third party topic: I am not against third party products, but in my philosophy this belongs to be used for very specific functionalities. Say you have a project with a specific graphic style which can no...

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

It would be nice if this was the solution. But if it's applied each time it's moved this means you can then draw? How do you then move it again if your first move was not correct? Maybe with holding down a modifier? For me the double klick stays the best option if this does not give the problem Pete...

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

Makes sense. But if I look at my past experience with Photoshop, where the transform is also settled with a double klick, I can't remember a moment where this gave a problem.

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

Do I understand this right? People critique an idea because they bought themselves a solution? Personally I see this very different. I payed a fee to TVP to use their software. I'm on this forum to make suggestions that could make the soft even better or more userfriendly for future versions. Someti...

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

Sven, the Swap tool you made me does this perfectly. After I set my out of peg position, I just press my "draw" toggle key and the off peg bounding box is instantly replaced by my pen tool. Since I keep my left hand finger constantly on that swap button anyway, this is an ideal solution. Where do I...

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

Wouldn't it bother you that a double click (of the pen I presume) will leave a mark on the frame? When in out of pegs mode your pen does not draw. (if it would draw I would not have suggested this) Same when you're in position or wrap mode. Double click works faster than searching for a button some...

Re: out of pegs / drawing time

Actually this could also be implemented in the position and wrap tool (and there's probably other tools I forget here), wher you also have to search for an apply button where a double klick would do the trick without leaving your artwork.
